Theology Courses

Many Christian universities and colleges offer theology courses as part of a degree program as well as individually. These degrees can be found in a graduate and undergraduate level, both online and on-campus. Theology courses can also be found by independent faith-based organizations; however they may not be accredited classes. In those cases, those classes may not be transferable towards a degree program at an accredited university.

As a student of theology, you will study Old and New Testaments, evangelism and church building, world views of Christianity, ministry, and more. By understanding the Bible and the Christian faith, you will be able to successfully apply your education to real-world situations.

Students who graduate from a theology degree program will find that they can then look to earn a career within the church or as a religious educator. For those who want to specialize in evangelism and church planting, future ministry leaders can begin by setting up their own church, or becoming an evangelist in an already existing congregation. For those who aren’t ready to actually find a career in the church, becoming a theology instructor in a college or other school would be another opportunity. Theology courses are designed to help educate you on the Christian faith and help you find a more fulfilling career experience.
