I often here this question: What is a Bible degree?

A Bible degree can be fun and rewarding.  The biblical studies program usually is 36 hours of classroom time.  You will be studying the Old Testament, New Testament and Biblical Interpretation.  Other subjects involved are Contemporary Religious Thought, Philosophy of Religion, Old Testament Poetic, Historical, and Prophetic Literature.  And then there are the electives added in, as well.

This Bible degree will all you to seek employment in Church leadership, aid in teaching ministries or a religious type office organization.  It will help you develop a better understanding of the Bible and help to heighten the skills need for interpretation of the Bible.  The degree can deepen your faith with God and prepare you to be a more effective servant to Christ in your everyday walk of life.

Some colleges also allow the option of including a semester of study in Israel, an opportunity you will want to add to your Bible degree.
